Do my TVs need to be boxed?
Is your moving company licensed and insured?
Yes, all TVs must be boxed to ensure that no damages occur. Our insurance will not cover TVs that are not properly boxed for transport. We suggest that you move the TVs yourself or at minimum you should obtain a large box to cover the screen fully. Place bubble wrap on the screen and tape the box (cut to fit) over the TV screen.
Yes, a standard moving industry insurance covers items at $.60 a pound, not the items true value. You also have the option to purchase full coverage insurance through your own insurance company or a third party insurer.
Does your company charge by the hour?
Most of our moves we charge from the time we arrive to the time we finish, calculated at the nearest 1/4 hour. (We do not charge for our time if we have a long day and stop lunch. It is rare for us to stop for lunch)
Some of our moves (based on location to/from) we do charge from the time we leave our yard to the time we return to our yard in the West Valley.
