MONEY SAVING MOVING TIPS

• All TVs must be boxed, we will not move them if they are not boxed.

• Pack heavy items in small boxes and lighter items in larger boxes.

• Fill all boxes completely, this insures the box will not collapse when stacked.

• Remove and box all items from dressers, cabinets and drawers.

• Place your mattresses in bags.

• If in a two story home, move items from the second story to the first level or garage to save move time.

• Decrease move time by disassembling and reassembling items that require extra care such as beds and tables. Place hardware in ziplock bags and keep in a safe place.

• Inform the movers ahead of time about any concerns on a particular item being moved that is overly heavy, large or needs to go through a tight doorway.

• Have washer/dryer and refrigerator ice makers disconnected prior to our arrival to save move time. 

• Make sure all electronics are disconnected when the movers arrive. 

  (take a picture of how electronic items are connected before removing them so you can easily put it all back together)

• Make sure all items are packed and ready to move when the movers arrive. 

• If only some items are to be moved use painters tape to mark and identifying all the items you want to be moved (or what you want to stay). Don't forget the garage, patio, attic or basement spaces.
